Pineapple Cake

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
4 eggs
1-1/2 cups crushed or tidbits pineapple, drained
1 cup chopped nuts
powdered sugar

Instructions

Sift dry ingredients. Cream sugar and melted butter. Slowly fold in beaten eggs, dry ingredients, pineapple and nuts. Mix well and pour in greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Sift powdered sugar on top and let cool.

The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
