4 cups thinly sliced, peeled potatoes
1 pound ground beef
2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Arrange half the potato slices in a shallow 2-1/2-quart baking dish. Brown beef and spoon on top of potatoes. Add remaining potatoes. Mix soup with 1 soup can of water and pour over top. Mix crumbs and cheese and sprinkle over mixture. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until potato is fork tender. Serves 6-8.
