Peanut Krispie Bars

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white syrup
3/4 cup chunky peanut butter
3 cups Rice Krispies
1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips (about 1 cup)
1/2 package (6 ounces) butterscotch chips (about 1/4 cup)

Combine sugar and syrup in medium saucepan, heat and stir to melt sugar. Do not boil. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Fold in cereal and pat into buttered 8x11-inch pan. Sprinkle chips on top. Place under broiler. Watch closely until chips are melted. Remove and spread.
