Melting Moments (Cornstarch Cookies)

1 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup sifted flour (sift, then measure)
3/4 cup cornstarch

Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Sift flour and cornstarch together. Add to creamed mixture and stir. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet; smooth tops gently. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from sheet to cool. If desired, top cookies with frosting of your choice.
