Kentucky Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (leave a few whole for garnish)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark Karo Syrup
1/4 teaspoon flour
2 eggs, beaten
Dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon butter (no substitutes), melted
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell (recipe below)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pecans in bottom of pie shell. In a bowl, mix the sugar, syrup, flour, eggs, salt, vanilla and butter. Pour over pecans. Place a few whole pecans on top. Bake for 50 minutes.
