1 stick butter
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream together butter, oil, sugars and egg. Add baking soda and baking powder to flour and mix well. Add flour gradually until all is used into mixture. Mix well and add the vanilla.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until sides are lightly browned. Do not over bake.
