Frozen Salad

8-ounce package cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
20-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
10-ounce container frozen strawberries, with juices
2 bananas, sliced
8-ounce container whipped topping
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

Blend cream cheese and sugar; set aside.
Mix pineapple, strawberries, bananas, whipped topping and nuts (if using); then add the cream cheese mixture. Blend and spoon into a 9x13-inch pan. Freeze. To serve, thaw 30-45 minutes and cut into squares. Serve slightly frozen.
This dish may be made several days in advance.
