Zucchini Casserole

Can use canned tomatoes.

1 pound hamburger, cooked, drained, set aside
2 zucchini, sliced thin
1 onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup pasta sauce
1/2 cup uncooked instant rice
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook zucchini and onion in 1 tablespoon oil. Cook until tender; add chopped tomatoes and pasta sauce for 10 minutes on slow.
Grease a 2-quart casserole. Put half of zucchini mixture in casserole, then sprinkle uncooked rice, then spread hamburger on top of rice then rest of zucchini sauce on hamburger.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and put cheese on top. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
