Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

3 cooked sweet potatoes (about 3 cups)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Topping:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 stick butter
1 cup pecans or walnuts

Instructions

Bake and cool sweet potatoes. Peel, cube and mash. Mix mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk. Mix until smooth. Place mixture in a buttered casserole dish. Topping: Melt butter; add sugar and flour to melted butter. Add nuts and crumble over potato mixture. Bake, uncovered for 45 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.
