Frosted Lime Walnut Salad

Ingredients

1 package (3 ounces) lime gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
For frosting:
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Cool. Stir in pineapple, cottage cheese and chopped walnuts. Pour into 8x4x4-inch loaf pan that has been rinsed in cold water.Chill salad. When firm, unmold salad onto plate. Stir together cream cheese, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Cover unmolded salad with this mixture to serve.
