Sugar Dusted Apple Bundt Cake

Ingredients

Pan preparation:
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cake batter:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon orange juice

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 10-inch fluted-tube cake pan. In a small bowl, mix together two tablespoons sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle bottom and sides of pan. To prepare the batter, combine the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl. Stir in the oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla; mix well. Add apple pie filling and stir. Pour batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for one hour. Let cool for 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and cool. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat one cup powdered sugar and one tablespoon orange juice for one minute or until smooth. Add more orange juice if needed for desired consistency. Drizzle over cooled cake.
