Dewhiteful Dessert

Ingredients

5 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Whipping cream, whipped

Instructions

Beat egg whites until frothy; add salt, cream of tarter and sugar gradually. Keep beating until dry and stiff. Fold in vanilla. Pour into lightly greased 13x9-inch pan.

Place pan in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in oven overnight. Cover with whipped cream and chill until ready to serve.
