"This salad has been in my family for as long as I can remember. The only change is from salt to seasoning salt. Add chicken nuggets for a main meal.
3 tablespoons olive oil or any favorite
1 teaspoon Lawry's seasoning salt
1 tablespoon dried basil or 8 fresh leaves
Dash of garlic
Dash of cinnamon
1 medium-size tomato, chopped
1 small head of lettuce, chopped
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
In a large 2-quart bowl, place first five ingredients and mix. Add remaining salad ingredients. Mix well and serve.
