We have temporarily moved our LeveeCam. We're currently zoomed in on an area of trees where upwards of 100 Bald Eagles have been observed. The eagles are fishing in an open water area, below a roller dam, on the Mississippi River in Rock Island Illinois. The white circle in the image at right shows where to look for the eagles in the trees. You'll sometimes see them in flight and possibly even retrieving a fish from the river!

You'll find a couple of local Bald Eagle closeup photo's here.
